Case Study : Champion Lakes community activation

A community heart at Champion Lakes

The Place

Champion Lakes is a masterplanned residential development, located 4 kilometres north-west of the Armadale town centre. The 26 hectare development incorporates a 55 hectare lake surrounded by extensively landscaped parkland, waterways and a wildlife conservation area. It will eventually deliver up to 450 new homes, including traditional and cottage homesites, providing cosmopolitan living in a lakeside environment just 23 kilometres from the Perth CBD.

Our Role

Working with LandCorp and City of Armadale, our role is to enhance community spirit and build social networks within the growing community.  A range of community and resident initiatives happen all year round, supported by long term planning for the community to become self-sufficient in the future.

Place activation and management is as important in residential communities as it is in public places. In addition to supporting community outcomes, our work is supporting commercial objectives and enhancing value for future land sales.
